In a notice published this week, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is seeking approval to collect and publish data for the Child Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Provides and Systems (Child HCAHPS).
If approved, AHRQ would develop a voluntary database housing data from the Child HCAHPS survey. Hospitals would request their survey vendor to submit data on their behalf. Public reporting will be similar to the Clinician & Group (CG) CAHPS survey with aggregate performance results.
