Access to three meals a day is something most Americans take for granted; however, this is not the reality for many households. According to the PRC National Health Survey, 43.3% of Americans are determined to be food insecure, having run out of food in the past year before they had money to buy more and/or worrying that their food would run out before they had money to buy more. This represents a significant increase from the 34.1% reported just three years ago.
