About the Survey
The Behavorial Health Study for Inpatient Psychiatric explores patient experience within inpatient psychiatric facilities (IPF), measuring perceptions of Treatment Team Relationships, Nursing Team Presence, Environment, and Treatment Effectiveness.
PIX Requirements
PRC is an approved survey vendor for the Psychiatric Inpatient Experience (PIX) Survey. All patients above the age of 13 are eligible to take the 23-question survey anonymously starting a day prior to discharge. Beginning CY2026, CMS will make reporting of the PIX survey
